How the magnetic glasses work

The magnetic crystal glasses are made of scratch-resistant and sturdy Tritan^TM crystal glass and the magnetic plastic glasses are made of scratch-resistant, shatterproof and BPA-free plastic. A neodymium disc magnet is discreetly integrated into the bottom or the base of the silwy magnetic glasses. Because of this magnet, the glasses will adhere to ferromagnetic surfaces. This includes surfaces made of metal or iron. If no ferromagnetic surface is available, the included leather-look metal-nano-gel-pad can be used instead. This metal-nano-gel-pad serves as a coaster and is also a self-adhering surface for magnets. Thanks to the gel layer on the back, the pad is non-slip and sticks to slightly textured, uneven and sloping surfaces. When you set the silwy magnetic glass down on the metal-nano-gel-pad, it will stick to the coaster. Thanks to this magnetic invention by silwy, tipped over glasses on moving or uneven surfaces are a thing of the past.

Magnetic glasses from silwy: Perfect for camping and boating

The non-breakable magnetic glasses are perfect for camping in your caravan, motorhome or campervan.

• While you are driving, the glasses on the metal-nano-gel-pads brave the perils of winding and bumpy roads. They will stay on the table and only spill their contents if the glass is overly full. The driver can also enjoy a beverage, as the magnetic drinking cups by silwy can be closed with a lid with a straw opening. Simply attach the coaster to the dashboard or armrest, and your drink will always be within reach.


• At the campsite, the magnetic glasses and drinking cups are practical too, because they adhere to the ferromagnetic surfaces of campervans and motorhomes as if by magic; or together with the metal-nano-gel-pad, they can be placed on rocks, park benches and other uneven surfaces.

The silwy metal-nano-gel-pads are self-adhering, thanks to the gel layer on the back. This allows you to create self-adhering surfaces for magnets on smooth or slightly textured surfaces.
